Traditional, Contemporary and Experimental Archaeology

Each colour followed a different individual over the festival – where they went depends on their age, interests and work patterns.

Guerilla Archaeology merges the archaeology of the past and the present: working across traditional, contemporary and experimental archaeology.

Contemporary archaeology focuses on the most recent (20th and 21st century) past and experimental archaeology

Experimental archaeology generates and test archaeological theories by replicating (or approximating) the feasibility of ancient cultures performing various tasks or feats.
